We hope you will join us for our annual worship service celebrating and honoring our graduating students. Graduates, family, friends, loved ones, and all guests are invited to join us for this special service. 

Graduates should wear your graduation regalia. There is no limit on the number of guests graduates may bring.

Speaker: Randolph W. Walters, Psy.D, LPC, CCTP, CSAM

WaltersDr. Randolph Walters serves as Special Assistant to the President for Diversity, Equity and Belonging. He previously served as Faculty Senate Moderator. He is Professor of Counseling Psychology and has served Eastern since 1995 after graduating in the first graduating class in Eastern’s Master’s in Counseling Program. Dr.Walters earned a Master’s degree in Theological Studies (MTS) with a concentration in Missiology from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary), and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. Dr. Walters is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Specialist in Anger Management (CSAM), and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. He has 25+ years of clinical experience and utilizes a trauma-informed approach to treatment. He is Founder and Director of Randolph Walters & Associates, LLC, a private counseling practice in Philadelphia. He is a mental health provider for the University of Pennsylvania Behavioral Health System.

Dr. Walters has also completed Evangelism training in Holland with Billy Graham in 1986, and is a graduate of Haggai Institute for Advanced Leadership Training in Singapore in 1989. His research interests include attachment theory, trauma counseling, fatherhood, masculinity, male psychology and missiological history. He is deeply committed to the integration of spirituality and mental health. He considers his life’s purpose to be a healer and a prophetic voice to a diverse global community. He is increasingly in demand as a conference and workshop speaker and has appeared as a guest expert on the nationally televised Tyra Banks talk show. Dr.Walters is the author of “Daddy’s Girl: A Psychological Examination of the Father-Daughter Bond” and “A Kindle in the Kingdom: Christian Missions Strategy in the Caribbean.” Dr. Walters has also served as a Pastor in his native Barbados, and Family Life Pastor of CareView Community Church in Lansdowne, PA. He is Founder and Pastor of Kingdom Transformation International Ministry, a developing church plant. He is married to Betty Walters and is the father of Safiya, Ayo, Akil, and Tia. He resides in Lansdowne, PA with his family.

Directions

Directions from St. Davids Campus: Take a right out of the main entrance onto Eagle Rd. At the first light, turn right onto King of Prussia Rd. Next light, turn left onto Matsonford Rd. At the fourth light, turn right onto Montgomery Ave. Proceed for about 15 minutes and the church is on your left after the Baldwin School.

Parking:

Parking is available in three lots on BMPC’s campus:

  • Sanctuary Parking Lot which can be accessed from Montgomery Avenue or on Radnor Street.
  • Radnor Street Lot, which can be accessed off of Radnor Street.
  • Fishers’ Road Lot, which can be accessed off of Fishers’ Road.

Graduates and guests who have mobility challenges can utilize the half-circle driveway in front of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church for drop-off and pick-up. It may not be utilized for parking as it is an active fire lane.

Additional parking will be available at Harcum College, across the street from Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. The parking lot accessed off Pennswood Road is available for our use. View the Harcum Parking Map.

To use SEPTA, take the Paoli Thorndale line from either the St. Davids or Radnor station to the Bryn Mawr station. Exit the station onto Morris Ave. towards Montgomery Ave. Cross Montgomery Ave at the light and turn right on Montgomery Ave. Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church will be on your left in 0.2 miles.
